In Remembrance
Angie Harper Thurman September 24, 1965 - March 30, 2009
Miss Me - But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free ? Miss Me A Little - But Not Too Long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared Miss Me - But Let Me Go For this is a journey that we all must take And each must go alone It's all a part of the Master's plan A step on the road to home When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss Me - But Let Me Go
The poet says - This is sometimes a difficult thing to do. When one comes along that gives so much warmth to everyone she comes in contact with, it's not easy to say goodbye. The Bar Fifty lost a brilliant ray of sunshine. Bette & I loved her dearly. When she came she always came in and said, "I'm Home" and that delightful smile and the twinkling eyes told us that she meant it. She contributed so much to what we wanted the Bar Fifty to be known as. My only thought is that God must have been short an angel so he called a special one home. We want to give thanks to Angie's family for letting us share in the life of this beautiful person, Angie Harper Thurman.
